Zoe-perry
Perry has the father of actor Laurie Metcalf, and Jeff Perry. The character Jackie Harris was played by her mother in both the two episodes she appeared on Roseanne. Perry did not decide to pursue acting as a career until she reached adulthood because her parents were afraid of the negative effects that stress could have. Perry stated that she was too shy to act during high school, but started doing shows in the theater at Northwestern University as a way to connect with people following her transfer from Boston University. Perry began her career in New York after graduation, getting small role in Law & Order: Criminal Intent. Then, homesickness led to Perry come back to California and find work as a stage actress. She appeared on Broadway in The Other Place with her mother in 2013. She appeared in Eugene O'Neill's Pulitzer Prize winner Anna Christie as well as Kevin McKidd. This was presented in the West Los Angeles' Odyssey Theatre Ensemble. Perry was featured nine times on the ABC film The Family, in 2016. She had a regular role in the ABC drama about politics Scandal, starring her dad. In addition, she played her younger Mary Cooper in Young Sheldon which was a CBS spin-off from The Big Bang Theory. The character was chosen via auditions the fact that she had a deep relationship with the show.
